Places to go and things to do — all summer long, all around the Sound
Whether you're new to the Puget Sound area or a lifer who just doesn't get out enough, it's hard to get to the bottom of the "to do" list in this part of the world.
New this year in Seattle are the Northwest African American Museum and Lake Union Park (which you can get to on the new Seattle Streetcar).
And another visit to the year-old Olympic Sculpture Park surely wouldn't hurt (especially if you haven't made it there yet). Go on a hot August night when the sun is starting to set behind the mountains and that cooling marine air is just starting to creep up the hill.
Here's a planning list for your summer visitors, or just a good source of ideas for when the house is hot and the days are long.
