“Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa”: Johnny Knoxville stars as an 86-year-old on a journey across America with an 8-year-old grandson in this comedy. It also has late-night previews Thursday and opens Friday at several theaters.

“Zaytoun”: An Israeli road movie that pairs a 12-year-old Palestinian refugee and a downed Israeli fighter pilot. It opens Friday at the Varsity.
