Paul McCartney last played Seattle three years ago and was joined on stage by the surviving members of Nirvana: Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl and Pat Smear.
Paul McCartney will play KeyArena on Sunday, April 17. Tickets are $39.50-$250 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, March 14, via Ticketmaster.com.
McCartney last played Seattle in 2013 and was joined on stage by the surviving members of Nirvana — Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl and Pat Smear — for a rousing encore that included the song “Cut Me Some Slack.”
McCartney commented to the press on Wednesday about the passing of Beatles producer George Martin, who died Tuesday at the age of 90.
“If anyone earned the title of the fifth Beatle it was George,” Paul McCartney said.
