The great 20th-century Japanese filmmaker Yasujiro Ozu, known for his wise, delicate portraits of multigenerational families, is the subject of a tribute series at Seattle Art Museum beginning March 23. “Family Circle: The Films of Yasujiro Ozu” will include his 1953 masterpiece “Tokyo Story” (pictured) along with eight other films, screening Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m. through May 18.
