‘The Night Shift’

Set in a Texas hospital, this new medical drama has all the makings of a hit (remember, “Grey’s Anatomy” premiered in the late spring a decade ago). It features an attractive cast of medical professionals (Eoin Macken, Jill Flint, Ken Leung, Brendan Fehr and Robert Bailey Jr.) juggling work and personal relationships, all while trying to save lives well into the night. Series premiere, 10:01 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, on NBC (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
