“Inside Llewyn Davis” (R): The Coen Brothers’ darkly comic film, set in the Greenwich Village folk-music scene of 1961, tells the story of a feckless loser/singer (played by Oscar Isaac) at a crossroads in life. John Goodman, Justin Timberlake and Carey Mulligan co-star.
“The Broken Circle Breakdown” (not rated; for mature audiences): Bluegrass music flows through this drama about a couple (Johan Heldenbergh and Veerle Baetens) whose marriage is tested when their child falls ill. In French, Flemish and Dutch with English subtitles.
