The actors and improvisers at Jet City Improv (including Laura Turner and Matt Caliri, pictured) in “World’s Fair” invite audiences to fashion their own crime thriller set amid the marvels of the 1893 Columbian Exposition. The “World’s Fair” production will follow real-life serial killer H.H. Holmes as he moves through the crowds at the fair (a tale familiar to readers of Erik Larson’s “Devil in the White City”), and actors will incorporate audience suggestions as the plot unfolds — making each production a mystery. 8 p.m. Thursdays-Fridays through June 21 (no shows May 30-31), 5510 University Way, Seattle; $12-$15 (www.wingitpresents.com).
