We’ve seen Canada’s Cirque du Soleil, and the U.S.’ Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. Then there’s Australia, which has its own vibrant circus scene, and one of the current star attractions is the world-touring Circa. The inventive troupe, which comes to Meany Theater this weekend, has its own style of blending modern dance with highly flying and earthbound acrobatics — which has been described as “poetic” and a celebration of physical mastery, with a soundtrack that ranges from Jacques Brel to Leonard Cohen to Radiohead. The 75-minute show is recommended for ages 7 and up.
