Dr. Steve Tarnoff was named president and chief medical executive of Group Health Physicians, Seattle.
Tarnoff will oversee the care of nearly 400,000 patients who are served in Group Health Cooperative’s 25 facilities in Washington state.
Tarnoff has been with Group Health since 1981, practicing as a family physician for more than 25 years. He has held numerous leadership roles in primary care, consultative specialty services and as medical director for the Group Practice Division.
