Ross Rogers was named regional managing director for wealth markets in the Pacific Northwest at Union Bank, Seattle.

Rogers will oversee wealth-management teams in Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Bellevue and Portland.

Rogers has more than 35 years in the financial-services industry. Before joining Union Bank, Rogers served as president and CEO of Comerica Securities and has held leadership positions at US Bancorp/Piper Jaffray and Shearson/Smith Barney.

Mark Palsson was named a vice president of investments at JHS Capital Advisors, Bellevue.

Dr. Joseph Gifford was named chief of strategic innovation for the Providence and Swedish affiliation, Seattle.

David Tan was appointed sales executive in the property and casualty group at Kibble & Prentice, a USI company, Seattle. Aran Buchan was named an account executive at Bothell-based Lovsted-Worthington.

Law: Michael Sherman joined Siderius Lonergan & Martin, Seattle.

Mitch Parrish was named chief operating officer at Physio-Control, Redmond.

Russell Stepp was named to the Northwest Kidney Centers Foundation Board, Seattle. Brendan Kolding was re-elected chair of Amici, the Fulcrum Foundation’s young-professonals’ organization in Seattle.
