Banking/finance: Ryan Murphy was promoted to branch manager at Banner Bank, Edmonds. Dudley Johnson was hired as a senior vice president in the property casualty division at Kibble & Prentice. Peggy McKasy was hired as a vice president and commercial loan officer at Valley Bank, Puyallup.
Colleges: Alan Spence was selected to be chief financial officer at the Seattle Community Colleges.

Hospitality: James Chittenden was hired as general manager at Apulent. Esther Bak was hired as sales manager at Ultimate Journeys.
Investments: Bob Toomey was named senior vice president and chief equity strategist at E.K. Riley Advisors. Aura Davis was hired as marketing specialist at E.K. Riley Investments.
Retirement communities: Diane Masson was hired as marketing director and Marianne Holman as marketing representative at Mirabella, an affiliate of Pacific Retirement Services.
