Boeing posted firm orders for 107 jets Thursday, including 21 conversions of existing 737 orders to the future 737 MAX model. There were also three 737 cancelations, for a net increase of 83 new orders.

The net total was worth $9.4 billion at list prices, but based on market pricing data from aircraft valuation firm Avitas, the real price after typical discounts is estimated at about $4.9 billion.

The net impact on the 737 order book was 16 new orders for the current 737NGs and 61 orders for the forthcoming 737 MAXs.

The total order tally for the MAX now stands at 1,376 jets.

The new orders included six 777-300ERs for SWISS, part of the Lufthansa group, a sale that was announced in March.
