Kristi Heim was appointed executive director of the Washington State China Relations Council in Seattle, a private, nonprofit trade association.
Heim previously worked for the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington where she was assistant director of the Confucius Institute and led other programs and initiatives related to China.
Heim is founder and president of contextChina.com, and is a former business reporter at The Seattle Times and the Asian Wall Street Journal.
