Sept. 14: 50+ Job Fair: The “Hire Experience” job fair is for job-seekers over 50 who want to update their job-hunting skills, spruce up their résumé and acquire information about where to find jobs. The event, sponsored by the Mature Workers Alliance of Puget Sound, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 14, at the Seattle Center House (305 Harrison St.). Employers will have representatives available to discuss employment opportunities. Workshops will include information about starting a business, job-hunting strategies and résumé critiquing.
