A dry July has helped cherry orchards in Washington harvest their crop.

Industry experts told the Yakima Herald-Republic (http://bit.ly/13gxVqv) they expect a harvest of about 14 million boxes.

The estimate is about 22 percent lower than initially expected because of some wet days in May and June.
