Dr. Thomas Brown was appointed executive director of the Swedish Cancer Institute (SCI) in Seattle.
His responsibilities will include overseeing the institute’s Swedish-based program and network development; leading SCI’s vision, strategy, planning, advocacy and execution work and championing SCI’s fundraising efforts.
Brown comes to Swedish from the University of Arizona Cancer Center, where he served as professor of medicine and chief operating officer.
