Boeing has selected the architecture firm that designed its 787 final assembly building in North Charleston, S.C., to design a new wing facility and other infrastructure for its upcoming 777X jet program in Everett.
The jet maker has signed a five-year agreement with BRPH, headquartered in Melbourne, Fla., to provide architectural and engineering design services, master planning and program development in Everett.
Initial plans will focus on the design of the new Composite Wing Fabrication facility and related supporting infrastructure for a total of over 1 million square feet.
The project will be managed out of BRPH’s local office in Renton.
