Amy Goings was named president of the Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWIT) in Kirkland. She will begin that job July 1.
Goings most recently served as vice president of operations and college relations at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Pierce County.
She also worked as deputy director in the office of former Congressman Norm Dicks with responsibility for higher education and workforce outreach.
