Tomorrow: The Northwest Multiple Listing Service releases its August sales report for houses and condos in the Puget Sound region.

Tuesday: Washington’s August jobless figures are released. The state gained 12,800 jobs in July, but the unemployment rate climbed as jobless workers resumed their hunt. … A King County Superior Court judge is expected to issue a written ruling in the case involving Kai-Fu Lee, a former Microsoft executive who left the company for Google in July. Microsoft sued Lee and Google after the departure, citing terms of a noncompete agreement Lee signed in 2000. The ruling is expected to dictate the kind of work that Lee is allowed to do at Google until a trial on the matter begins in January. … Thousands of software developers who use Microsoft products will gather in Los Angeles at the company’s Professional Developers Conference, running through Friday. They’re coming to prepare for a wave of new products being launched by Microsoft next year. They’ll also hear Chairman Bill Gates deliver a keynote speech.
